This is an excellent study application for a serious Japanese learner to improve reading/writing/listening skills in Japanese. It can be used for independent study or it can be used as a supplement to whatever class you are already taking to learn Japanese.
All Hiragana/Katakana/Kanji in this application are supported by stroke animation that shows you not only the stroke order but also stroke direction. Also they have format of flashcard for mnemonics, tracing for writing exercises, and quizzes written in normal text with Hiragana and Kanji, which is the best way to master Kanji through vocabulary.

You dont have to carry textbook, dictionary, flashcards, paper and pen. Just carry iPad with this app and practice this workbook whenever you have time in the subway, in the bus, at the coffee shop or anywhere.
